Since V2 is coming with all new bodies, which require a handful of coding alone, the staff team & I have been discussing new ways to make character creation more unique and interactive
We've got a super cool idea that I will not disclose (in case it doesn't work) but because of that idea I've decided to reorganize the GUI and hopefully make it easier to navigate
I'll be adding screenshots as I make more progress, but feel free to post your opinions/thoughts! I want to know what you think and if you have any suggestions for improvement
First of all, instead of having the meshes haphazardly spread around (seriously why does Body have an entire page??), I've compiled them all into one page and given them names:
oh god ignore the texture, I haven't gotten to fixing that up yet
Manes will probably get names as well, I just need to make them up
Next I plan to create a marking page with options for two of each marking. The colour page is also getting new additions, (hopefully) including tongues, claws, and pawpads

You kill critters like you usually would; the changes begin when they die. Critters no longer decompose immediately. If you've killed a prey critter, you'll see this:

If you aren't in range of the prey and you try to eat it, you'll just run to it. However, if you're within range and would realistically be able to reach it:
That's just a fish though - very low health. The amount of health you get from eating is determined by the prey's maximum health. For example, a weak salmon will give you +15, but a stronger pig will give you +70:
Be warned that prey doesn't last forever. After about a minute the body will decompose on its own
Also note: not all critters are prey! This is all health-based; if a critter is stronger than what is considered a "boss health," you will not be able to eat it. No, you cannot eat the Champions >_>
Bosses do not decompose immediately either, but they have a much shorter interval to avoid frustration with picking up items. Grab some screenshots with your trophy while you can!

while these aren't technically V2 codes and should be in our Christmas/winter update, I'm gonna post them as proof that I've actually been doing stuff :B
right now the code is good to go for telling you if the item is in your stash...the scrolling to the item itself is a little off. You can still see the item in the vicinity though. Hopefully soon I can get that all tweaked and fixed up!
