Hey guys. Just wanted to leave a note to thank you for spending our last day with us.
Almost 40 players, some from the first day we opened, stopped by today and talked about their Azop experience. It was honestly amazing. This doesn't include some of the players I've been able to speak with these past few days who couldn't make it today.
Right before the final shutdown, we took one last group shot. These are the handful of players that were able to stay up late with us; I know it was a weekday so it was especially difficult for some people!
The server is now offline, but the forum will remain mostly accessible as normal until the 15th. After that, it will sort of enter a "Read Only" mode--you can access old posts but you cannot post anything new. Before then, I will start locking boards that will no longer have a use--game help/bug reports and pet swaps, for instance.
The final server backup is processing as I type this.
After it's finished, I'll post the final server count- players & characters.
The server is fully backed up and the laptop is off.
Final Count:
Players: 4,896
Characters: 11,312
Total logins: 197,183
I should probably note that I only have the login count since I started hosting, which was about a month after release, haha. So that number should be higher.
If I did everything right, the forum should now be in a read-only mode... meaning that you should still be able to access all threads you could previously access, but not create new threads or post new responses.
